Check out the list of 5 ski and snowboard events to join in April while enjoying your holidays at the popular Alpine resorts.<\/p>\n

Obergurgl, Austria<\/h4>\n

If you are skiing in the Austrian Alps, you probably know that this is the true place to try a delicious Alpine cuisine in a nice and cosy Hut Evening (H\u00fcttenabend Hohe Mut Alm), an amazing traditional Austrian cabin with stunning mountain views. Get into a gondola and have a safe and smooth ride up to the mountains to taste a fantastic fondue or some gourmet cuisine, enjoy a drink and listen to the live music. In case you are in a mood of having some extreme fun, than night time skiing and tobogganing is what you need! The quality of snow cover is just perfect and the run is well-lighted, so you will always see where your skis are taking you. The night skiing session runs from 7.30pm until 10.30 pm.<\/p>\n

Ischgl, Austria<\/h4>\n

Seven years in a row, the Austrian ski resort of Ischgl is the place to host the annual Gastronomical Ski World Cup, an event to bring together waiters, sommeliers, chefs, hoteliers, barkeepers, winemakers, as well as other representatives of hospitality industry to compete in giant slalom and win the title of 2015 Gastronomical World Champion. \u00a0This year there is a new special category for snowboarders as well. This is an international event organized by Thomas Schreiner, the head of Laurent-Perrier champagne in Germany and Ischgl ski resort. The legendary stage on the Idalp will also offer the perfect backdrop for the Palux demonstration kitchen to make its great presentations and tasting sessions.<\/p>\n

Les Deux Alpes, France<\/h4>\n

The Snow Jam, a Belgian ski and snowboard freestyle competition, is back to Les Deux Alpes for the 14th time. Join the event from 11-17 April 2015 to see the best riders conquering half pipes and other obstacles to win the title in each discipline: Big Air, Half Pipe, Cross and Slopestyle. Open air concerts are held every afternoon and everyone is welcome. From 20th 24th April kids of Les Deux Alpes are invited to join the exciting Festival Junior Foliz to celebrate the coming of spring. Enjoy arts, crafts, outdoor and other entertaining activities. The festival runs between 2pm and 6pm and is aimed at kids between 6 and 12 years old.<\/p>\n

Hintertux, Austria<\/h4>\n

From the 11th April until 3rd May everyone is welcome to try out next season\u2019s equipment prototypes, get some freestyle coaching or even join the nature photography workshop. Besides this, you can take advantage of trying a Pistenbully, avalanche training courses and a technical resort tour to see how the lift systems are functioning, as well as visit artificial snow making plant.<\/p>\n
