For this reason, we recommend avoiding the school holidays, or skiing later on into the season.<\/p>\n<p>When learning to ski in a day, you\u2019ll have to be honest about your skill level. The more difficult black runs and off-piste adventures are out of bounds\u2026 for now!<\/p>\n<p>In answer to the question: \u2018is skiing dangerous for beginners?\u2019 Yes \u2013 if you overestimate your ability!<\/p>\n<p>While every resort will have its share of easy slopes, there are a few which are particularly well catered to newcomers. Bending them will give you far better balance!<\/p>\n<p>Plus, putting too much weight on one foot will make you veer off in weird directions. It\u2019s best to keep things even. Keep your weight on the balls of your feet too!<\/p>\n<p>The technique can sometimes only come through trial and error.
