La Rosiere skiing: an overview

At La Rosiere you can ski in various sectors, including the newest one—LE MONT VALAISAN, which is linked with Italy. Based on the run colours, this new sector is ideal for intermediate skiers to advance with 6 red pistes and 1 black piste. From here, you will be able to see Mont Blanc from the highest peaks at 2800 metres of altitude.

You can reach other sectors like the Transceiver Park from the Roches Noires ski lift. This one serves as an educational sector where you can enrol in one of the two ski schools. A FREERIDE sector is also available for use, and you can access it from the Mont Valaisan ski lift. This is a non-groomed area with a 500-metre altitude descent.

Non-skiing activities in La Rosiere

Among the many non-ski activities at La Rosiere, snowshoeing and Nordic walking are great choices. Here, you can discover the mountains at your own pace and have as many breaks as you would like. Both activities are a great way to keep yourself active! Another alternative to discovering the Alps is paragliding. It’s open from April to October, and the price starts at 85 euros. Tout Poudre, meaning powder, is another alternative to unwind after a full day. The space works like a canteen and has a terrace with breathtaking views of Mont Pourri. You can stay for a drink or try some of the homemade dishes inside by the fireplace.
