Château d’Oex is an okay ski resort. It has a total of 14 lifts, 20 pistes, and 250 kilometres. As previously stated, this resort is more suitable for skiers that are beginners due to the altitude of the ski area and the limited lifts. However, there is some terrain for the more advanced ones. If you’re just entering the ski world and want to perfect your skills, French Ski School is a 90-year-old school that has been passing on the love of skiing to students, including kids and adults. Many courses are available to cater to your goals.

Non-skiing activities in Château-d’Oex

The Château d’Oex ski resort offers other activities in addition to the skiing one. Still on the slopes, you can try snowboarding. Other non-ski activities are limited. Château-d’Oex is famous for the first air balloon fight. If you would like to discover a little bit more, you can visit the Espace Balloon, a small museum where you get to be surrounded with air balloons.
