Treviso Antonio Canova Airport (TSF) sits three kilometres from the centre of Treviso and 31 kilometres from Venice. While smaller than Venice Marco Polo, it handles over three million passengers a year, mostly on low-cost carriers. For skiers heading to the eastern Italian Alps and the Dolomites, it is often the most direct flight option. ## Location and regional geography Airlines often market the airport as “Venice–Treviso”, but it is a distinct facility located well inland from the Venetian lagoon. Because it sits immediately west of Treviso city, it is physically closer to the foothills of the Dolomites than Venice Marco Polo. This cuts a small amount of time off the northbound drive into the mountains. ## Terminals and passenger flow The airport uses a single passenger terminal, opened in 2007 and named after the Italian sculptor Antonio Canova. The layout is simple and built for the fast turnaround times of budget airlines. Arrivals use the ground floor, and the departure hall and security checkpoints occupy the first floor.

## Winter airlines and connectivity Low-cost carriers drive almost all of the traffic here. Ryanair and Wizz Air run the vast majority of the routes, flying to 44 destinations in 21 countries. In winter, flight schedules from major European cities expand to match the demand for ski trips to the Italian Alps. ## Into Treviso and Venice The local Mobilità di Marca (MOM) bus line 6 runs between the terminal and Treviso Centrale railway station in about 15 minutes. From the station, you can catch national trains across Italy. If you need to reach Venice, Barzi Service and ATVO run direct coaches to Piazzale Roma and Venice Mestre station. The drive takes 40–60 minutes depending on traffic. ## Baggage, skis and special items Because the terminal is small, checking in oversized luggage like skis and snowboards is relatively fast. You need to declare sports equipment when booking your flight, then drop the bags at the oversized baggage desk after visiting the main check-in counters. When you arrive, skis come out through a separate oversized baggage door or carousel in the reclaim hall. ## Parking and airside facilities Four parking areas sit right next to the terminal. Three long-term car parks hold just over 500 cars, and a small short-term lot in front of the building handles quick drop-offs. Inside the terminal, the amenities are basic. You will find a few cafés, a duty-free shop, and standard seating in the departure lounge. ## Alpine destinations within reach Treviso is a common starting point for trips into the Dolomites. Under illustrative good conditions, the drive to major ski areas like Cortina d’Ampezzo takes about two hours.
