Serfaus skiing: an overview
The Serfaus ski area is interconnected with neighbouring Fiss and Ladis, offering a wealth of skiing options. For beginners, head to the Komperdell area, where you’ll find gentle slopes and dedicated learning zones. The Murmliwasser and Kinderschneealm are particularly good for little ones just starting out.
Intermediate skiers will love the long, sweeping runs from the top of the Lazid lift down to the village. The red runs from Zwölferkopf and Schönjoch offer fantastic views and varied terrain. Don’t miss the scenic Frommes-Abfahrt, a lovely long red that winds its way through the trees. For more advanced skiers, the black runs from the Pezid peak provide a proper challenge. The Direttissima is a leg-burner, dropping 1,000 metres over its 4 km length. If you’re after moguls, try the bumps under the Lazid chair.
Freeriders should explore the off-piste routes from the Masnerkopf. The north face offers some thrilling descents, but always ski with a guide here. For freestyle fun, check out the Serfaus Fun Park near the Lazid lift, featuring a range of kickers, rails, and a halfpipe.

For a more relaxed pace, try winter hiking on over 100 kilometres of scenic trails or embark on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride through snowy landscapes. Ice skating and snowshoeing are also popular, with equipment rentals available. For unique experiences, try igloo building or paragliding.
